Sound All Around: Percussion

Percussionists are the heartbeat of any orchestra—they keep the rhythm steady and set the tempo for everyone else to follow. And here’s the coolest part about being a percussionist: The entire world becomes your instrument! Whether it’s tapping on a desk, clapping your hands, or banging on a drum, if it makes a sound, it can be part of the music.
