Celebrate Paul Robeson, American Civil Rights Hero| Paul Robeson House
Paul Robeson was a true American hero, rallying against persecution of Black Americans through music. After touring around the world, he returned to find that America did not reflect the humanitarian values he learned abroad. He began speaking out as a public figure, advocating for civil rights, and remained in Philadelphia until his death.
