Apr. 20, Ann Arbor: The tour came to an end with two performances in Hill Auditorium at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. The first concert opened with Florence Price’s Fourth Symphony.

Apr. 20, Ann Arbor: The audiences in Ann Arbor have a special bond with the Philadelphians, dating back to the Orchestra’s first appearance there, in 1913 with Leopold Stokowski. From 1936 to 1984 the Orchestra appeared annually as the resident orchestra of the May Festival in Hill Auditorium.
