Enhancing Health and Well-Being Through Community Empowerment in Philadelphia | Bebashi
Founded in 1985, Bebashi aims to empower Black and Brown people to enhance the quality of their health and overall well-being by providing access to culturally sensitive high-quality healthcare, HIV/AIDS services, health education, and social services. Bebashi welcomes all patients regardless of insurance or ability to pay, offers prevention education and free at-home HIV testing kits, combats food insecurity with its Food First Pantry, and provides resource navigation to connect individuals with a variety of services from housing to job training.
