The “Stories in Sound” performance begins with The Rock You Stand On, a stirring tribute to resilience and connection by composer John Adams. Rising star Hayato Sumino then takes the stage for Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F, a sparkling fusion of classical elegance and jazz-inspired flair.
