(Philadelphia, May 26, 2026)—Drag superstar Trixie Mattel will host The Philadelphia Orchestra’s fifth annual FREE Pride Concert on Tuesday, June 30, at 7 PM in Marian Anderson Hall at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Led by conductor Carolyn Kuan, the concert will celebrate the Philadelphia region’s LGBTQ+ community through a program rooted in joy, love, strength, and belonging. The concert is free, but tickets are required and are available now at philorch.org/pride. Seating is general admission and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Entry is not guaranteed.

The program will include performances of Madonna’s Vogue, Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way,” Sondheim’s “Sunday” from Sunday in the Park with George, and Carly Simon’s “Let the River Run,” from Working Girl featuring the ANNA Crusis Feminist Choir, Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus, Philadelphia Voices of Pride, and the Transcendent Choir of Philadelphia. Cast members from the touring production of The Notebook will perform “Carry You Home” and “If This is Love” from Ingrid Michaelson’s GRAMMY-nominated score for the musical. Additionally, the Orchestra will perform music from West Side Story, Frozen, and Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet

A pre-concert celebration will kick off the evening at 4:30 PM in Commonwealth Plaza at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Guests are encouraged to dress in their Pride best, strut the rainbow runway, and treat themselves to a glitter tattoo or face paint. The pre-concert festivities will culminate in a drag showcase—hosted by RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 18 alum and Philadelphia-based drag queen Mandy Mango—featuring queens and kings from across city: Jenny Henny, Mister Right, Romeo Blaque, Yari, Hannibal Lickher, Paula Deen White, and KenDoll Carter. The pre-concert program also features a DJ set from DJ Da_BooBoo. Community partners will be stationed throughout the plaza before the concert, including a Philadelphia Orchestra merchandise table, Ensemble Arts Philly giveaways, and audiences can capture memories at a photobooth throughout the evening.

This year’s concert is proudly presented in partnership with Wawa Welcome America as part of Philadelphia’s America 250 celebration.
